Arthritis is an inflammation of joints, and osteoarthritis is a type of arthritis, a degenerative joint disease. Osteoarthritis is the breakdown of cartilage in joints, which occurs in the knees, hips, and spine. It can also occur in finger, thumb, or toe joints.

Heat relaxes the muscles around the knee and also helps lubricate the knee joint. Moreover, it also helps relax the muscles and relieve joint stiffness. Similar to Heat Therapy Cold Therapy also helps get rid of joint pain, but it does this by inflammation in the joint. It also decreases the swelling and pain related to knee arthritis.

Ben is also an Associate Registered Nutritionist having gained a Master’s degree with Distinction in Human Nutrition from the University of Surrey.
